It Started With A Kiss & Hana Yori Dango

IT STARTED WITH A KISS
Am currently "chasing" this series which is being aired in Taiwan & released in D-addicts for downloading. This series is actually based on a Japanese manga. The comic did not have an ending cos the author passed away while writing half way through it. Then, there’s a Japanese drama version of it (which I bought years ago). & now, they’ve finally come out with a Taiwan drama version. Initially, when I saw it released in the homepage, I tot it was the Japanese version but no, it was Taiwan produced. So, out of curiousity, I decided to dl. Even after I downloaded till episode 6, I didn’t start watchin & it didn’t look all that interesting. One day of mischief - & I’M ATTRACTED & ADDICTED TO IT! Dunno to say I regret anot but the series is rily rily nice! With Joe Zheng Yuang Chang & Ariel Lin Yi Chen acting in it, the show’s just great! At first, I tot it was weird for Ariel to act like a complete blur girl but after watching, both the them just blend so well & look perfect together! Serious… Seeing their chemistry n all… The show’s funny & touching at the same time. PLUS, ZHENG YUAN CHANG’s damn damn damn cute! Hahahaha… He’s 188cm tall. Can u imagine? The scene where he kissed the girl, he had to open his legs wider to appear not so tall & when he came out & stood in front of the door, he was taller than the door’s bingkai (*OMG). The show’s currently released till ep9 & i doubt i’ll finish dl even till I leave for US. Worried how to cont watching if I can’t dl there. Sigh… Total recommendation!

HANA YORI DANGO
For those of you who doesn’t know what does Hana Yori Dango refers to, it’s actually "The Flower Boys" or in another words, "Meteor Garden" (acted by F4 & Big S). Similarly, this series originated from manga & went on to Japanese series, Taiwan series & the latest, Japanese series again. After reading the original comic, I realized the Taiwan series made quite major changes in the story line here n there but overall, it’s still the same (refering to Dau Ming Shi, San Chai etc). Anyway, as I just mentioned, there’s a latest  japanese series on it again & I rily appreciate F4 for acting in the show cos the Dau Ming Shi is much much more leng chai than Domyouji (as in Taiwan more good looking than japanese). The guy’s actually quite famous in Japan & it appears that many fans were looking forward to him acting in it. But to us, well at least to me, he’s rather a stranger & I seriously wondered y did the casting team chose him?! He’s the least leng chai & he’s the shortest among the F4. NOT CUTE AT ALL! Erm… Maybe I’m exaggerating this. I mean he do has his good points (big eyes etc.) but… NOT QUALIFIED ENOUGH TO BE THE LEADER OF F4! Hahahaha… As for Hua Zhe Lei (Hanazawa Rui), i think the guy they choose to act was quite compatible to the character & the guy’s yeng. Haha Got the Lei feel… The other two (Xi Men - Soujiro & Mei Zhuo - Akira) Hmm… Not bad looking la… Both Taiwan & Japan also quite good looking I would say… Am also currently "chasing" after this series. Only released till ep5. But it’ll be much shorter than Taiwan series since it’s Japanese (always significantly shorter). Btw, the San Chai (Makino Tsukushi)’s quite cute. Cuter than Big S… & Dau Ming Shi’s elder sister (Tsubaki)’s acted by Nanako Matsushima. The actress in GTO, Takashi Sorimachi’s wife.

Just a little comment here n there bout the series I’m watching now. These shows are considered MUST WATCH in my opinion. Enjoy!

P/S - The Wireless in the apartment is really killing me! It’s too too too slow!!! Then again, It’s not even mine - considered stealing u know? Hahaha… THanks to the whoeva’s izit anyway…

Sweet 20th Birthday

Monday, November 14th, 2005

I’m finally in the gang of the 20s. As Deb said, I’m no more a teen without the "1" in my age anymore. It doesn’t matter as long as I still feel young inside. Haha…

Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday to chin hun,
Happy birthday to me!

Tanti auguri ate,
Tanti auguri ate,
Tanti auguri a…te..,
Tanti auguri ate. (Italian)

Saeng il chu ka ham ni da (Korean - Happy birthday to YOU??) Haha…

Anyway, the day before I was stuck at home with nothing much to do & no where to go. Had no idea how was I going to celebrate either. Couldn’t go online cos whoeva the fella that has the wireless thingey seemed to have on the router but not the modem (Crap!) Btw, just in case I forgotten to mention. I’m currently staying at the bbk apartment, no more in tepi sungai until my tepi sungai house finish renovating. The day was kinda boring. Didn’t feel like doing lab report or any other assignments. Was studying for 20 minutes when i slept off. Haha… Then, went out yum cha (dinner?) with darling in Gourmet Desert. They ran out off all tong sui except for tang yuan & thats also with black sesame flavor left. Spent my 1st hour of birthday with Darling. Haha… & his gift… Was very touched with it & didn’t much expected it. Then again, it was logical of his gift. He gave me a WHITE SWEATER/ JACKET from MNG which i rily rily like a lot (refer to pictures). Don think it came cheap also. Felt like crying cos at that time I was thinking of how much I would miss when I’m at US & how thoughtful of him to get me a jacket (so that I can think of him everytime i put it on). Rily warm jacket. THANKS YOU VERY VERY MUCH DEAR!!!!

Spent almost the whole birthday with darling. From 12++pm till 11pm. Yay! Had lunch with his family (most of my family members not in) in Teluk Gong. Food not bad. Experienced eating "lai liu ha" (hokkien=hay ko/prawn) with hands, ripping it off its shell. Haha… Hw looked stressful (SPM the next day). Had dinner at Funazushi with darling. It seems that the specky chef there didn’t smile at hc & hw when they went there a few weeks earlier & this time, when i went, the guy smiled. C wat’s Hc hinting at? Haha… Very very filling dinner. Very filling!!!

Didn’t realize darling wanted to buy me cake until he turned & stopped at Secret Recipe & after he asked me wat cheese cake i like best. Haha… Damn blur case… Again, very touched (cos was thinking bout when I leave for US & he’s not there with me *sob sob*). Small triangle piece of cake with a candle in the middle. Cute…

All in all, a very sweet & simple birthday. Thanks to everyone who wished me (belated or not Haha…) & thanks for the pressie’s that I’ve received so far (from Darling, Aziz, JJ & Mom). & I wanna clarify stg, for those who misunderstood thinking that I didn’t like Hc’s gift, IT’S SOOOO UNTRUE! I LOVE IT VERY MUCH!

Dear, thank u for such a wonderful memory. It would be memorable enough for me to bring over to US. I guess ur the person I’m gonna miss the most while I’m there. Thanks. Love you always.. Muaks!

Yay! Video marks out!

Tuesday, November 8th, 2005

The VIDEO ASSIGNMENT marks are finally out! Ms Winnee returned our assignment and the marks were GREAT! Well, maybe not all that great, but it was rily rily comforting & satisfying having known that our hardwork have been repaid. Avergaely, we got 36 - 37 out of 40 (marks differed due to the effort part - depends on the characters we acted in the video). There were comments that Ms Winnee gave along when she returned our assignment.
1. Ah yi has chunted make up (insomnia) and she’s a good screamer.
2. Andrew’s a petulant kid & his accident running looks "weird".
3. Chin HUn’s hair’s interesting. Do parents still tie like that nowadays?
4. Chyun Fang acting like a stereotypical aunty & eating the doughnut as she leaves the house (this was a "hole" that was rather not obvious n yet obvious haha…)
5. Where did we get the doctor’s robe & stetescope? (CP’s a medical student… DUh!)
6. Did we eat the spaghetti that fell into the sink? (Ew!! Erm… Yes, we did.. Hahaha…)
7. Accident scene was dramatic. So was divorce scene. Almost cried looking at Val’s sad face.
8. Yi looked like ghost? Scary…
9. Thank every1 involved.

I don’t rily remember all the comments but i think that’s about it. Was rily excited & euphoric over it that Ms Winnee noticed. Haha… The other group doing the video assignment had high marks too. Hurrah to all who did video!!!

Despite all the happiness, i’m again drowning in the midst of assignments. IO lab report due this friday. Physics quiz this thursday. Lucky physics assignment due next week. Poster due next monday. Colloquium presentation next Saturday. Abnormal lab report due next next monday. Abnormal assessment (super scary) next week. Aiyo… So luan! KAU MENG AH!!!

& my lappy’s so so so running out of space due to all the downloading. My Hd’s not back yet but even if it is, it would still be almost the same. The huge space HD i have is equally running out of space. OMG! Tell me about it!

Have already shifted to the apartment as my house is under renovation. Terrible renovation & a terrible place to live in. Dirt etc. PLus, all the things are packed and kept (thrown more like it) here n there that i’m having trouble finding the stuffs i want. My books are wrapped, cant even get them out. A whole big mess la… Aiyoyoy… & the renovation isn’t gonna finish even by the time I leave for US, meaning i won’t even have the chance to see the new look of my house (besides pictures of cos), don even mention staying in it. The whole front porch is gone, the whole kitchen is gone, my brother & my room will be extended out. Oh ya, & the stairs gone too… Gone as in renovate la… whole big project ya know? Dunno how am I gonna pack for US by then. Haih…

GUess thats it for now.. Tata… Till we meet again…

WAit! Another thing worthy of mentioning. INNOCENT STEPS is a korean movie that’s about LATIN DANCE. I totally recommend this movie. It’s a must watch esp to those who are interested in dancing. Even those who arent were mesmerized & captivated when they watched this movie. Thats all… A MUST WATCH!!!!!

Tata…

Lazy to blog or am I too busy to blog?

Tuesday, November 1st, 2005

Yes… I’ve been missing in action again since my lost blogging. Am I that busy or am I just lazy? I dunno. Both I suppose…

Went for a counseling "Search-in camp" last week (21st Oct 2005 - 23rd Oct 2005) in Cameron Highlands. The 1st camp I attended organized by college. The pat gang & I wanted to go since it was our last sem in HELP already. It was a rily inspiring camp. Made me (all of us, I think) thought through & through about our lives - wat’s important, wat can we do, wat to expect. There was this session when we were discussing about wat’s important in our lives (relevant to ourselves) & I was rily thinking hard about it cos it seems that I had quite a handful of things that I want. Haha… Anyway, when Mr. Gerard wanted us to fill in the sentence "Life is…", a few ppl told their views. Y Ji’s sentence was the one that caught my attention. "Life is a circle of mutual existence" It kinda implies that everyone is influenced by everyone - no1 is alone & that "One wakes up to a wonderful day because one has another". It also means that everyone needs everyone. I was thinking bout Hc & I. I haven’t reached the stage where I wake up everyday to meaningful life because of him but I’m hoping that the one day will come. What I had in mind that time was that I wanna have a passionate & no regrets love life - at least if I couldn’t have it forever, I’ll look back & smile at the beautiful memory…

The last session was fun too where we were required to acknowledge our good points & tell your group members their good points as well. Flattery moment. Haha… Laughed like crap. Then again, thanks u guys (val, yi, fang, lin lin & shin)… Stg happened on the last night, stg rily rily unexpected. We were suppose to sleep by 12am but it’s a common thing that ppl don’t on their last night together. We were playing UNO when we realized one of the members was actually "drunk". A fresh & anxious experience for me cos I’ve never excountered a drunk person before. Anyway, the case was settled & done with. Shopping on Sunday before coming down from Camerons. Super cheap stuff (although we were dupped by the veggie & jagung sellers!) Haha…

Still am going crazy for series downloading. My 160GB hd’s gonna be full anytime soon & my lappy’s one too. This is soooooooooooo off the line but it’s inevitable. Hahaha…

Holiday’s started… Went to the zoo to be a volunteer last Saturday (29 Oct). It was a rily rily fun & enjoyable experience having coming in contact with the animals & doing all the "behind the scene" work (e.g. feeding, cleaning). Yean Wee, Vickie & I chose Children’s world. We raked the pony’s place, prepared the food for the animals, brought the pony (Hobbit) out for a walk n accompanied it at the photo corner. There was a 2 week old baby pony there as well - feeding on milk bottles (fernleaf milk) Haha… The parrots were kinda quiet while the chickens were aggressive. & I saw the animal from the cartoon Madagascar. The one with the innocent looking face with huge eyes pleading in the cartoon & the "I like to move it, move it" animal. Darn cute! Took pictures with the rabbit. The ducks ate aggressively… & the coolest part was… I had the Burmese phython (7kg) slung over my shoulder & took picture with it. It turns out that snakes aren’t that scary after all. That’s of cos after I screamed again & again before I had the guts to do it. Haha… The snake had rily shiny scales… Hobbit was very very tame. Fed on carrots. Had hair problems cos everytime we combed, there’s just hair dropping. Dandruff problem i think. Haha… Had a superb time there! Yay! Thanks dear for the invitation. Thanks Vickie & Yean Wee for the great work together..

More posts to come. I better stop for now… Gotta sleep already. Interview in US embassy tmr.. *sob sob*
